I took a contract to perform a short run of ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ that commenced the moment I returned from overseas. Needless to say, I haven’t had a spare moment to assemble the podcast since. I hope this week without hasn’t put you off downloading and listening to our shenanigans. The HorCast will return this coming Monday.
I’m off to soak my poor, abused feet. I vow to never wear high heels again…

It’s more film chat with Lee, David, Karyn and Dom! This week we chew into the meaty bits and come away with a gut full of passion!
A word of warning - though the conversation winds toward the intelligent every now and again, it always manages to work its way back around to zombies and tits. Those afraid of the naked undead should turn back while they still have a fighting chance!!!

This is a pretty special show. Matt produced this wonderful interview with Anna Leventhal of Montreal’s Bibliograph Zine Library. He even went so far as to create brand new, original music to accompany it, engineered by the one and only Rodolphe Gonzales. Listen to the show then come back here and click on the link to learn more.

It seems the HorCast is pushing for a Tuesday publication date every week. Does it abuse alcohol on the weekends? Stay up too late? Is it unable to consume enough coffee to jolt the bags from under its eyes every Monday? Who’s to say. All I can tell you is that it’s still asleep as I type this, and looking at the state of its bedroom, it clearly had a wild night. I’d rather not be the one to rouse it.
Let’s hope it feels a little sunnier tomorrow.

So, you were wondering why this weeks show was late? Here’s your answer - almost a full hour of bland, uninspired discussion about comic books and the media! Here’s a brief rundown of what we moan on about…
- no podcasts in main iTunes library
- bumping into Dale Eaglesham
- Eisner inkwash on newest ‘Adventures of Superman’ issue
- Defining the term ‘CARTOONIST’
- film vs. theatre acting
- ‘Pamplemousse’ by Genevieve Castree
- Montreal ‘zine library
- interpretive drawing: ‘SEX’
- Matt C. Dvorak gets no spam
- an audio question for HORHAUS
- Karl’s sexiness and animating MIKI
- comics shipping late
- jam comics
- Ojingogo’s schedule
- Matt’s Flight submission
- Art for love, not money
- Errol Morris
- ‘Sex and the City’
- ‘Rome’
- the pleasure of TV is the lack of commitment
- cultural shift toward shorter stories
- shitty movies
Sorry about the quality of the audio. I take comfort in the knowledge that it can’t get much worse.

Yes, I’m poor and I have no HorCast for you today. Not for lack of trying, on either count. What you’ve got awaiting you tomorrow, oh faithful listeners, is an epic of unrivalled proportion! I won’t spoil it by showing my hand prematurely but I will say that this episode will keep me editting all night.
See you tomorrow!

Better late than never!
This show is the conclusion to last weeks chat with Eddie Berganza, the editor of the Superman family of comic books. This week we discuss the Superman summit, ‘in continuity’ storytelling, the new Superman film and how Eddie plans to say goodbye at the end of his seven year run on the books.
