This is the line drawing I did for the cover to Adventures of Superman #642, my third issue on the title. Click on it.
You may have noticed that it looks significantly different from the solicitation image published in Previews. That’s because this is the final image, coloured by Dave McCaig.
I scrutinized it in an attempt to figure out how my linework ended up looking so rich and sculpted, and realized that it’s just because Dave is a god-damned genius.
I am humbled and beyond lucky to have him colouring my stuff. He’s on board for the long haul, so expect one of these every month!
