Ho, Kcuf!!

AOS644-Cover-Inked.jpg

The covers for this series have been pretty last-minute on my end, which isn’t to say that I didn’t put a lot of effort into them, or that I’m unhappy with the way they’ve turned out, but it means that the solicitation versions you see in Previews or online are rushed, colour mock-ups to give the retailers and fans an idea of what they’ll be ordering. So it’s nice to be able to post the finished covers here, if only to show off more of Dave McCaig’s lush colour work.

Once again, click the line art to see the final colour art.

Guh……. this guy’s amazing… I’d love to sit on his shoulder for a day and just watch the man work..

This is my favorite one of the series so far. I’m curious with the fill-in guys on the insides, would they consider getting someone else to do a cover so that you could finish the sequential pages or would they rather have you do the cover. Is that something you have negotiated with them?
