That about sums up the atmosphere here as of late, doesn’t it?
For my part, I’ve been moving around a lot and doing a whole lot of work I can’t show anyone yet, but here’s a peek at the variant cover I did for issue two of Gail Simone and Neil Googe’s Tranquility series from Wildstorm.
This issue has been solicited already, but I don’t think the variant cover has seen the light of day, so I present it here in all its faux-aged, retro glory. Had a lot of fun with this one.
Hello? Where is everyone? Update from Montreal:
A new batch of Ojingogo mini-comics are being printed and bound as I write this. The comics will be available at Expozine small press fair here in Montreal this Saturday.
Getting comics printed is such a stressful ordeal. Even though I have a very accommodating and helpful printer this time around, it’s still painful to hand over all your work to someone else to print. Let’s just say I’d hate to have me as a customer.
I’m also doing another print run on the original “special preview” comic, in case anyone missed it.
