Everything Old Is New Again

Hi all!
There have been a lot of changes around here, so I thought I’d post an update to keep everyone abreast of the goings-on. First, I’ve moved from Montréal back to my birthplace of Toronto, where I now share studio space with the indomitable Cameron Stewart and the unflappable Ramón Pérez! It’s everything I could have hoped for - inspiring, creatively supportive and macintosh-friendly. AND I’m back in Kalman’s neck of the woods, so hopefully we can get some more podcasts recorded and keep each other in line.
I’m hard at work on Teen Titans: Year One, which is a six issue miniseries coming out from DC sometime next year. I’ll post some artwork as soon as I’m allowed to, but for now it’s very hush-hush. Unless you come by the studio, in which case I’ll show you everything.
And because I’ve moved into a new apartment which is 30 minutes or so outside of the city, I have nothing to do when I’m not working. Which explains the new coat of paint on the horhaus site. I was bored and it was long overdue.
It’s nice to be home.

Welcome back to Toronto, Karl! Looking forward to Teen Titans: Year One. New apartment 30 minutes outside the city? What neighbourhood you living around?

Hi Jason! I’m living in Mississauga right now, which is sort of a temporary situation until i find something more permanent downtown.
I’m tired of moving… :(

Best of luck with the search downtown. The commute from ’sauga must be a pain during rush hour.

The re-re-return of Horcast? AWSOME! Karl, glad your back in good ‘ol Can of da. BTW I’ve wondered this for a while: did you go to art scholl? and if so, which?
