Matt Forsythe…Interviewed!

Just to beat him to the punch, I’d like to point everyone in the direction of Matt’s interview at the Pulse, in which he talks to Jen Contino about Ojingogo and the publishing deals he never bothers to tell his friends about! ;)

Yay for Matt! I just got my copy of the second ojingogo book, which is awesome (and includes a free sketch. I’ll scan it and post it here when I have time).
Go read!!

Ragni EP Release

Happy New Year, everyone!

It would have been nice to blog about this while I was working on it (being that this is meant to be a blog about the creative process and all), but there really wasn’t time.
Brenden, Tina Lanzillotta and I put this book together in the space of about three weeks to serve as the packaging for the Ragni EP. Rather than release it in a standard jewel case, Brenden wanted the packaging for the music to be a marriage of sound and pictures, and I concocted a 21-page original story as well as some incidental artwork inspired by the songs-in-progress.
I’m extremely happy with the results.

The book is 72 pages, includes a 5-song CD, and is the result of several sleepless nights. You can purchase one at Ragni’s Official Website or on their MySpace page. Below are links to a couple of my favourite pages:
