Game On - Update!

Based on a number of excellent recommendations, I’ve gone out and purchased a bunch of cheap, used Gamecube games! I’ll review them as I play through them all (this may take quite a while because I have lots of work to do), but here’s the rundown:

1. Super Mario Sunshine: As a Mario fan, I’m excited about this. I know it’s no Mario 64, but it still looks like good, well-designed fun.

2. Metroid Prime: I’m holding off on the new Metroid for the Wii so I can play through these chronologically.

3. Eternal Darkness: Because the readers were unanimous in its awesomeness! Can’t wait.

4. Robotech: Okay, this was an impulse buy. It was 6 bucks and I was a huge Robotech fan, so even if the game is a piece of shit, I can’t really lose.

Thanks to all for the recommendations - feel free to keep ‘em coming. Reviews to come soon!

Mario Sunshine rules! It’s my favorite Mario yet—I had just as much fun with it as I did with SMB 3 back in 8th grade. Also, have a go at Ocarina of Time: Master Quest if your a Zelda fan.
