Vera Brosgol

I woke up this morning, made some coffee, did some web browsing and came across Vera Brosgol’s site. You know how sometimes you’ll see work from another artist that renders you completely unable to work, ashamed of your own miserable deficiencies?

Yeah.

All kinds of awesome. And owls.

Yeah actually, happens alot when I look at this guy… what’s his name?? Kessel? He’s an ass like that. If only he could know how that felt…

I hear ya, Karl. Claudia turned me on to her work a while back and I was immediately impressed. And she’s probably younger than both of us…damn unfair world…

Oh man, I came across Vera years ago with her (sadly unfinished) webcomic Return to Sender*, and I’ve been in love her work ever since. Just the other day I framed up some prints and a sketch of hers I bought a while back, to spruce up my new flat. She draws how I want to draw.

*Huh, I’d not seen that note on the front page before. Closure!
